Want to know the easiest and most inexpensive way to help keep your body from feeling aches and pains? Foam rolling! It is such an important part of keeping your body feeling healthy and properly recovered from strength training. (Not to mention all the daily activities that we do on a repetitive basis!) I joke with my clients and call it the “poor man’s massage” because it’s true! Once you have access or own one of these you can do it anywhere anytime and it really does help keep your body feeling mobile and reduce pain.
I am not suggesting that you don’t need to see a massage therapist, but it is a great tool to use in between your sessions to an RMT.
